With today's technology, we could do a better job utilizing the internet and social media outlets for the following:

  1. Annual members and quarterly board meetings
    • Utilizing virtual, on-line, or teleconference meeting technologies will allow home owners who are unable to attend meetings in person to participate in the meetings from the comfort of the home, office, or other location.
  2. Board elections and other association issues that require a majority consensus of the members
    • There are many on-line voting-host websites commercially available that meet the requirements of the Arizona Revised Statutes for electronic voting which will allow us to conduct any voting activity and allow members to cast their votes via computer, tablet, or smart phone.
  3. Notifications and meeting minutes
    • Notifications can be sent to email or social media addresses to better inform members of issues concerning the association.

Although there are costs associated with the use of these technologies, the cost is offset by the reduction in postal costs and reallocation of funds.
